Description    
The purpose of this training is to improve knowledege and overall ability relative to inspecting surface water treatment plants. Participants will learn information of the major operational mistakes and performance limiting factors relative to surface water filtration plants in PA. Participants will build skills to identify these limiting factors via on-site filter plant inspections and data review. The course will also provide information relative to determining the severity of operational problems and overall risk that a particular filter plant may produce poor quality drinking water. Another purpose is to review the important role of Sanitarians duting Filter Plant Performance Evaluations as well as FPPE follow-up activities.
