Description    
The jar test is an important tool in maintaining effective treatment. Jar testing can save treatment plants money in operating costs, as well as fines for treatment violations. Most importantly, the jar test can help protect consumers by giving operators the information needed to maintain optimal water treatment. This course is intended for water treatment plant operators wishing to gain an introductory understanding of jar test concepts and of how the jar test can aid operators in process control of water treatment.
